Help with Millr.
Write to hello@millr.ai. Tell us which Claude app you used, what you asked and what happened.
Common problems
- Claude answered without Millr.
- Check that Millr is switched on in Customize › Skills, then say "review this with Millr" or "run a Millr review."
- You have a native CAD file (SLDPRT, F3D, IPT, CATPart) or Zoo KCL code.
- Export a STEP from your CAD or from Zoo, and attach that.
- You only have an IGES file.
- Attach it, exported as a solid if your CAD offers that. A STEP is better still.
- The 3D view does not appear.
- The changes and fix instructions still work. Open the page in a current desktop browser to see the part.
- You have a mesh (STL, OBJ).
- Millr reviews what it can and says what it could not judge. A STEP gives a full review.
- Claude won't accept the upload.
- Upload millr.skill as it is, without unzipping it. If Claude still refuses it, write to us.
- There's no upload option on your company account.
- Your owner may have turned off user-created skills. Ask them to turn them on, or to add Millr for your organization.
- On Team or Enterprise, Millr can't measure the part.
- Your owner controls network access for code execution. Ask them to allow package managers, since Claude may need to install an open-source CAD library to measure your part.
- Your file is too large to attach.
- Export the STEP without hidden bodies, or split an assembly into its parts. Claude's help center lists the current upload limits.
Millr needs Code execution and file creation, which is on by default on Free, Pro and Max. Check it in Settings › Capabilities; on Team and Enterprise your owner controls it. The skill works on any Claude plan; the plugin needs a paid plan. How to add it.
